PROCESSING
Typical processing includes orders being processed and shipped within 3-5 business days. Please allow for additional processing time around major sales or during holidays. We cannot guarantee changes once an order is placed. However, if you need help, please contact our customer service department by email at cs@aanvicollectives.com with as many details as possible, and we will try our best.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING
Enjoy FREE SHIPPING on all orders within the contiguous U.S. over $99. Once picked up and scanned by our carrier, transit times will vary depending on the shipping method and delivery destination. You will receive your shipping confirmation email as soon as a label is created for your order. The tracking status of your shipment may take up to 48-72 hours to update. Once shipped, an order's tracking information is outside of our control. As much as we'd like to be there, the final delivery is out of our hands. We cannot replace missing or stolen packages at this time.
EXPEDITED SHIPPING
We offer expedited shipping options for contiguous domestic orders. Pricing depends on the destination and weight of the package. Please consider our 2-3 business day processing window when planning your order. For example, orders placed on Thursday or Friday with UPS 2-Day shipping will likely arrive the following Monday or Tuesday and will not arrive on Saturday or Sunday.
This is our carrier's shipping policy. Once a package is shipped from our HQ, delivery is unfortunately out of our hands. For more information or assistance with your order, email our Customer Care team at cs@aanvicollectives.com.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We are not currently offering international shipping outside of the U.S. If and when we do, those destinations will be listed here. Shipping rates are calculated by weight and delivery destination.
EXCHANGES + RETURNS
If you are not satisfied with your product, we have a 7-day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return or exchange. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURNING THE PRODUCT TO US.

To start the process, please contact us at cs@aanvicollectives.com. We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund is approved. If approved, you will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember that it may take time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at cs@aanvicollectives.com.

DAMAGES & ISSUES
Please inspect your order upon arrival and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged, or if you received the wrong item. This allows us to evaluate the issue and make it right. If your order arrived damaged, please send us an email within 48 hours of receiving your order, including photos and a description of the damage. Please report damaged products within 48 hours and before using the product for the first time. For all returns, refunds, or exchanges, you will need the receipt or proof of purchase.
EXCEPTIONS
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Note: Candles, wax melts, and other related products can soften or melt when shipping during warm temperatures. We cannot be held liable for products that melt due to prolonged exposure to hot temperatures. We strongly advise you to arrange for your order to be delivered to an air-conditioned location, such as a business or home, where someone can receive your package. If packages are left outside during hot temperatures, candles and related items could potentially melt, and we cannot be held liable for such damage.

NOTE: We are unable to cover any shipping fees. Discontinued items, clearance items, limited collections/releases, and gift cards are also considered final sales and are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges.

FAQs
How long before my order ships?
Most orders ship within 3-5 days assuming the items were in stock, there were no changes to the order,
and depending on the shipping service selected during checkout if applicable. In the event there may be a
particular delay due to unforeseen circumstances we will reach out.
Is there a 'local pickup' option, if I am nearby and want to save on shipping charges?
No, this option is not available at this time.
How can I keep my candles looking their best?
Candles may discolor or fade when exposed to intense light for extended periods or if stored in warm or humid areas. We do not recommend displaying your candles in direct sunlight, under fluorescent lighting, or in other strong illumination for long periods. Wax will soften in temperatures over 80°F. If storing your candles for an extended period, keep them in a cool, dry place.
What kind of Wax do you use?
We use multiple types of wax, depending on the product, and the specific wax type will be listed on each individual product page. However, most of our products are made from soy blends and coconut blends.
What kind of Wicks do you use?
We use multiple types of wicks, including cotton-core wicks, flat-braid wicks, and threaded cotton wicks. Each wick type has various benefits, such as maintaining rigidity to keep the wick centered or reducing soot and smoke. We do not use lead wicks—lead wicks have been banned in the U.S. for many years.
Do I really need to trim the wick?
Yes, in most cases. You should trim the wick when necessary, especially if you notice a carbon "mushroom" on top of the wick or if the wick seems excessively long.
For best results, trim the wick to 1/4 inch before lighting your candle. If the flame becomes too large or you see smoke or soot, extinguish the candle, trim the wick, and relight it.
Failing to trim your wick can lead to excessive flickering, smoke, and soot buildup. Keeping your wick trimmed ensures a safer, longer-lasting burn. Additionally, it prevents the wick from curling back into the wax—an issue primarily affecting non-cored wicks.
My candle is leaving lots of wax on the sides of the container after burning it. Why?
A small amount of wax "hang-up" on the sides of the container is normal, especially in the early burns. It often resolves itself over time. However, excessive wax buildup (over 1/4 inch) or severe tunneling (a hole down the center) can occur due to several factors, including:

Poor candle-making quality (not an issue with our products)

Wick issues during production

Not burning the candle long enough per session
To prevent tunneling, burn your candle for at least 3–5 hours per session to allow the wax pool to reach the container’s edge. Our candles are made with premium ingredients and extensively tested to minimize these issues, but following proper burn guidelines will help ensure an even burn.
Why do I sometimes get small puffs of smoke coming from my wick and flame?
This can happen for a couple of reasons:

Wick length – Ensure your wick is properly trimmed as mentioned above.

Drafts – Candles placed near windows, vents, doors, or high-traffic areas may flicker due to air movement, causing small puffs of smoke.
Unless the smoking is constant, there’s no major cause for concern.
There is a mushroom bloom head on my wick after burning? What is it?
A carbon buildup, commonly known as a "mushroom," can form on the wick after burning. This is especially common in highly fragranced candles, as fragrance oils travel up the wick while burning.
A mushroom head is a good indicator that it's time to trim your wick before relighting. Be sure to let the candle cool and harden before trimming to avoid wick debris falling into the wax.

How can I avoid making the candle smoke when I extinguish the flame?
To minimize smoke when extinguishing your candle, avoid blowing out the flame whenever possible. Blowing it out can create excessive smoke and may also cause melted wax to splatter accidentally. If you must blow it out, do so gently.
For a smokeless extinguishing method, we recommend using a wick snuffer, which safely and cleanly puts out the flame. Another effective method is placing the candle's heat-resistant lid over the flame, which will suffocate it in seconds.
Do your wicks contain lead?
No, not at all. Lead wicks have been illegal for many years, and we have never used them—nor would we ever.
Do you ship any day of the week including weekends?
We ship products Monday through Thursday to prevent them from sitting in hot warehouses over the weekend. This precaution ensures that your candles arrive in the best possible condition. If extreme heat is expected, we may further limit shipping to earlier in the week to prevent prolonged exposure to high temperatures in transit.
To minimize the risk of heat damage, we recommend:

Choose a delivery location where someone will be available to receive the package (such as a friend’s or family member’s house or your workplace if permitted).

Please note: We are not liable for melted candles or wax products due to extreme heat. While all shipments are insured, melted wax is not covered by FedEx, USPS, or other carriers.

Do you ship to PO boxes?
Yes, we can ship to PO boxes as long as there is enough space and your PO box accepts deliveries. However, this may limit shipping service options.
How long does it usually take to ship and receive my products?
Shipping times vary depending on the time of year. We typically ship orders within a few days. However, during hot summer months, shipments may take an extra couple of days so we can schedule them earlier in the week.
Transit times depend on the shipping carrier and your location, generally ranging from 3–7 days. You will receive tracking information once your order has shipped.

Pandemic-related issues (such as COVID-19) have also caused unpredictable shipping delays. Unfortunately, we have no control over this once the package leaves our hands.
What if an item is defective or damaged as it arrives?
Your satisfaction is our priority. If your product arrives damaged, please contact us via our "Contact Us" form on our website. Please retain all original packaging materials in case a return is necessary.

What if I really don't like the fragrance I ordered? Can I return it?
Unfortunately, we do not offer exchanges or returns based on personal fragrance preferences unless the candle has a defect. Fragrance preferences are highly personal, so we encourage you to read the fragrance notes and descriptions in each product listing before purchasing.
If you don’t love the scent you receive, consider gifting it to a friend, co-worker, or family member—candles make great gifts!
Can I refill or re-use my candle jars and containers when they are empty?
Due to the natural weakening of glass over time from bumps and scratches, we do not recommend refilling our jars for reuse as candles. Repeated exposure to heat can increase the risk of cracks or breakage.
However, our inspirational jars are "Keepsake jars! You can use them to store buttons, nails, cotton balls, potpourri, seashells, or other small household items. Additionally, most local recycling agencies accept empty candle jars along with other glass containers.
Why do most candles say to discontinue using the candle when a half inch of wax remains in the
bottom?
This is purely a safety precaution, and it is a standard recommendation from all candle makers and retailers.
As the wick nears the base of the jar, the glass can become extremely hot, increasing the risk of cracking, breaking, or damaging the surface underneath. To avoid this, we always recommend burning candles on heat-resistant surfaces and discontinuing use when about ½ inch of wax remains.
